Setting up the Core Diagnostics App (MK1 Only)

If you would like to run multiple versions of the Android app on your device, do not select a Core Diagnostics app to be the default app to run when Core Remote Interface is connected to a vehicle.
When you do so, everytime you connect the Core MK1 Remote Interface, this default selected app will start to run and you will be unable to run for example the beta version of the Core Diagnostics app.
Step by Step Settings
This issue can easily be overcome by modifying the app default settings.
1. On your Android device, go to Settings.
2. Click on Apps & notifications.
3. Click on App info.
4. Click on the Core Diagnostics app.
5. Click on Open by default.
6. Click on Advanced.
7. Click on Open by default.
8. Click on Clear defaults.
9. Exit settings.
